Oh my god, I just looked up the scene in question, and Billy is trying to talk AROUND the Wisdom of Solomon sealing his tongue by going ‘well, you and GL and Wildcat all look younger, so obviously you’re familiar with age being a wonky thing on this team…’ and hoping Jay’ll put the pieces together himself, but nope, and frankly Billy’s lucky Jay didn’t interpret that as him making horrifying excuses! Also Jay’s talking to him like “son, I’m so disappointed in you” rather than “I am going to throw you in jail for being a pedophile”! I hate it even more now! AND THEN THEY LET HIM BE THE GUY TO REBOOT CAPTAIN MARVEL! And I have no idea how to appropriately tag this post to flag for content without just putting ‘pedophilia’ in there! Geoff Johns was always bad, actually!

They’ll have to evade villains and heroes alike while they explore their relationship and unpack their time and experiences at Sanctuary. Especially the “explore their relationship” part

Reads like this is instead going to be a series that finally like, makes it 100% canon that they aren’t “Friends” they are a couple who are in love with each other and want to be together

Like if it was some douchebag dudebro like Jason Aaron or Scott Lobdell or Geoff Johns writing this I’d be pessimistic as well but the fact that it’s a good and pro LGBTQIA writer on this title makes me hope that this is going to be a good series that gives us proper canon Harley/Ivy romance content <3

But Mr, Mind being dog sized was true to life. Lex beats him by keeping Mind busy in the dream world, then summoning up all of his will to kick Mind in the real world.

The concept of Mr Mind Eating Time is amazing but this really does smack of Geoff Johns and Grant Morrison’s weird thing where they feel they have to take fun weird silver age things and Make Them Edgier

Mr Mind is already VERY EVIL AND VILLAINOUS he was already a credible villain but they feel the need to turn him into Something Lovecraft Drew After Hitting the Opium Really Hard

What makes Mr Mind fun is that he’s an EVIL LITTLE SPACE CATERPILLAR

His design is weird and fun and his personality is over the top and ridiculous but he’s also hella dangerous

Turning him into Evil Butterfly Cthulhu misses the point of the character…it’s the same mentality as with the IT remake making Pennywise look more like a Monster Clown…sometimes dangerous villains not LOOKING like they’re dangerous is part of what makes them work well…not everything has to look like it comes from Clive Barkers sketch pad to be a legitimate villain…
